Join us for The Backwoods Preacher, a dramatic presentation of the life and preaching of Methodist circuit rider Peter Cartwright. Cartwright was a contemporary of Abraham Lincoln and a staunch opposer of slavery. He lead many revivals, personally baptized over 10,000 people during his time as a circuit rider, and was known for his fiery, exuberant personality.
This will be held on Tuesday, September 25th. Refreshments will be provided after and a freewill offering will be taken for the performers.
